Karla Alvarez Father Carlos Alvarez Says Body Of Mexican Actress To Be Cremated After Untimely Death

Karla Álvarez' father, Carlos Álvarez, revealed that the body of the deceased actress will be cremated. No press has been allowed to the chapel where the funeral service was held for the 41-year-old actress. However, the actress' father spoke to the press outside a funeral home in Felix Cuevas and stated that the body will be cremated following the Karla Alvarez' wake.

Karla Álvarez' family said that, in light of the enormous sadness following the actress' death, members of the press will not be allowed in the chapel. A press release from the family reads as follows: "By way of this announcement, we wish to express our sincerest gratitude to the public and the media: radio, print and TV, for the outpouring of care, solidarity and support for the tragic death of our beloved Karla."

"We thank you for your support and understanding and respect, as we wish to pass this difficult time in complete privacy," the statement continues. Karla Álvarez' body was discovered on Friday afternoon following an apparent respiratory failure.
