They say that the public tends to have short memory but in the case of Kanye West vs. Taylor Swift that couldn't be any further from the truth. West has been on the road for his Saint Pablo Tour and its most recent stop was in Nashville, Tennessee. The rapper performed his hit song “Famous” that both he and Swift were feuding over and let’s just say the crowd got in on it big time!
Earlier this year, Swift claimed that she did not authorize Kanye to refer to her as a “b*tch” in his song, "Famous." Once Kim Kardashian released the audio of Swift on the phone signing off on the epithet, all hell broke loose. While Swift claims that she didn’t ok West referring to them “having sex” and referring to her as a “bitch”, the damage was already done.
Now West who is riding high on the success of TLOP made sure to perform the song “Famous” not once, not twice but a whopping three times! “So many people told me, ‘You’ve got to take that line out of the song. You got to play it safe, but this is what rap music is,” he says. “ This is what art is. Saying how you feel. And this song is how I feel.”
The crowd is psyched and riled up by the beef starts chanting “F*ck Taylor Swift” in unison. Kanye responds, “I needed to hear that loud, Nashville.” Yikes!
The two stars have had a rocky past stemming from his infamous interruption of her 2009 VMAs speech. Although the two have seemed to make amends and put the situation behind them, Kim exposing her has refueled their feud yet again.
Time has passed but it seems as if Kanye is still riled up about the whole situation. By the looks of it, these two will not squash their beef anytime soon.
