The American rapper and record producer, Kanye West claimed that his estranged wife, Kim Kardashian, is "playing games" when it comes to her new boyfriend, Pete Davidson.
In a new interview, the 44-year-old hip-hop icon stated that his and his former wife's relationship would never be like "Will and Jada," referring to oversharing details of their split and parenting issues. It was known that Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith have publicly aired their relationship issues on Jada's own online talk show, "Red Table Talk."
"We're not going for a 'Will and Jada' because everybody got problems on both sides," West said in an interview with Hollywood Unlocked.
The rapper also mentioned "little nuances" of Kim "playing games" regardingthe 28-year-old comedian, Davidson. "How are you going to bring me to "SNL', and then kiss the dude you're dating right in front of me and everybody's like, 'Oh, that's cool,'" the rapper said.
Kim's appearance on "Saturday Night Live" in October 2021 created a media spotlight following her divorce from West, wherein the beauty mogul and Davidson had an onscreen smooch for a skit before publicly displaying their affection towards each other. According to a source, who attended the "SNL" taping, "Ye had already left the building when Kardashian and Davidson locked lips for the skit."
"They can go on 'SNL' and make jokes, make jokes in the media. They can plant stories about whoever I'm dating. They can block deals… but I'm [going to] tell you straight up, don't play with my kids," he said. West accused Kim of leaking details about his love life, he also firmly expressed protection for his children after all the recent issues about their new lives.
The "Praise God" singer is now reportedly dating "Uncut Gems" actress Julia Fox. They were seen on multiple dates. West recently questioned Kim on social media for not inviting him to one of their kids' birthday celebrations. However, a source told Page Six, "She has never gotten in the way of allowing him to see his kids and makes every effort to give him full access to them."
