Seems like bad blood is beginning to boil between previously amicable exes Kanye West and Kim Kardashian after the award-winning musician took to social media to voice his frustration for not being able to celebrate with the Kardashian-Jenners for Chicago's 4th birthday over the weekend.
The rant video, which lasts around two minutes, has since gone viral after it featured the father-of-four driving around Los Angeles, scrambling to find the location of Chicago’s birthday bash, according to Page Six.
“Y'all, I’m just wishing my daughter a public happy birthday. I wasn’t allowed to know where her party was,” he said at one point, insisting “baby mamas” and “grandmamas” were “playing games” with him amid the family drama sparked by his ongoing divorce proceedings with the Skims founder.
The "Jesus is Lord" hitmaker would make further claims that his health has taken a toll brought by the stress of the separation saga. Ye added that he resorted to tabling in his concerns on social media because he needed some support.
“I’ve called Kim, texted the nannies, I got on the phone with Tristan, he said he’d ask Khloe, won’t nobody give me the address to my daughter’s birthday party right now, and that’s going to imprint in her mind that I wasn’t there for her," he continued.
However, insiders close to Kim would slam the accusations, noting that West eventually made it to the celebration for his youngest daughter. The 41-year-old beauty was also reportedly shocked about the brewing feud since, according to sources, it was Ye who insisted on organizing two separate parties.
“Kanye was always supposed to have Chi at 4,” they explained. “They pre-agreed to have two separate events and it was his idea.”
The drama follows an incident in which Ye also claimed he was not allowed to see his kids during a visit to the home they previously shared, TMZ noted.
In that drama, the "Donda" rapper star claimed, "when I went to pick my kids up from school, the security stopped me at the gate. So at that point, security was in between me and my children," noting Kim's current beau, Pete Davidson, was reportedly in the mansion at the time.
However, Kim's camp would refute the allegations, revealing the "Saturday Night Live" host has never been to their mansion and has never met the kids yet because Kim is determined to set boundaries, the News International reported.
Before Kim's romance with Pete was made official, Ye beseeched the makeup mogul to "run back to me," admitting he wanted things to work and hopefully inspire other couples to mend their broken vows.
After Kim filed for divorce in February 2021, the exes opted to preserve friendly relations as they co-parent their four kids, North, 8; Saint, 6; Chicago, 4; and Psalm, 2. Kardashian had two failed marriages before tying the knot with West in 2014.
