A former security guard at a Washington juvenile correctional facility was charged with custodial misconduct after convincing a young inmate to record sexual encounters with her in the bathroom of the facility, officials say.

Michelle Goodman was a security guard at the Green Hill School in Chehalis. She was employed by the Department of Children, Youth and Families (DCYF).

Goodman, 31, allegedly groomed a 23-year-old inmate, beginning a sexual relationship with him, according to charging records obtained by KOMONEWS.

She was then able to persuade him to film their encounters in a bathroom at the Green Hill facility. According to prosecutors, surveillance footage captured Goodman and the inmate walking into a staff locker area within the facility on two different occasions in January of this year.

On Thursday, she was charged with three counts of custodial sexual misconduct in the first degree.

The inmate's attorney, who was contacted by law enforcement, provided screenshot evidence of the nature of their clients' relationship with Goodman. Furthermore, charging documents depict photos of Goodman in 3 different outfits, indicating that at least 3 encounters occurred between her and the inmate.

He was afraid Goodman would "punish him and harm him if he rejected her advances," according to the inmate's attorney.

The Green Hill facility has repeatedly made headlines due to employee misconduct, with Goodman being the fifth employee to be arrested this year, and the third to receive sexual misconduct related charges.

"The Chehalis Police Department will continue to aggressively investigate those who are involved in criminal activity at Green Hill School," said the department in a news release.
