After "Despacito" became a worldwide hit, Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee surprised everyone with the remix of the song accompanied by superstar Justin Bieber. What the fans did not expected at all, was to see both artists playing the song for the first time in Puerto Rico, just days after it became viral.
All the attendees to the Coliseum of Puerto Rico witnessed a unique concert that had the participation of Fonsi, singing live with the 23-year-old Canadian.
"Thank you so much. This guy, thank you so much for letting me get on the record. It's amazing!" Justin said about Fonsi after the performance. "I know you guys love this guy, give him a round of applause. I appreciate it."
“Despacito” has already been number one in 16 countries and has had 1.000 million reproductions in Youtube in just couple of months. The remix generated over 20 million views on YouTube in the first 24 hours, surpassing Ed Sheeran's "Shape of You." It is the largest music video premiere of 2017 on the platform to date.
"Despacito" is part of Fonsi eighth album, Tierra Firme. Listen to the new version below.
