Over the years Canadian singer Justin Bieber has had his share of run-ins with the law. While for the most part the 22-year-old singer has managed to remain unscathed from law enforcement, it turns out that he may have run out of luck. It is being reported that the singer may be facing possible jail time.
According to Latina, Bieber may actually land in jail for his role on the assault of a member of the Argentinian paparazzi back in 2013.
The publication reports that the singer was indicted by a judge in Argentina after allegedly attacking a photographer in 2013. The singer was accused of having his two bodyguards beat up a photographer and steal his camera and money while Bieber was in the country. Although Judge Alberto Banos indicted Bieber, he did not issue an arrest warrant.
Fast forward to 2014, the singer was ordered to go back to Argentina to testify but he didn't go, which is when the judge issued an arrest warrant and then dropped it.
Due to the case and other incidents within Argentina, the 22-year-old was banned from coming to the country. We recently reported that the singer was accused of desecreating the Argentinian flag, visiting a brothel in Brazil and tagging multiple neighborhood within Brazil and Colombia with graffiti. The incidents caused the singer to take a three-year hiatus from the region. Devastated by the decision, he took to Twitter to share his sentiments with his fans.
"Argentina I do love you. It is in fact one of my favorite places to tour. I wish this was not the case. My lawyers say it is what it is," he tweeted in May 2016.
There is no law that says that the judge cannot reissue an arrest warant as he sees fit. If the judge does issue another arrest warrant, with Bieber's rap sheet in the country it is very likely that he would have to serve substantial jail time.
