Justin Bieber hasn't exactly been making headlines for his proper behavior, in fact, the teenager has been involved in an impressive number of incidents both on and off his "Believe" tour and has led to speculation that he is either out of control or going through a some sort of "rebel-without-a-cause" phase.

We've all seen video footage of the Biebs urinating into a mop bucket in a NYC kitchen nightclub, pics of the singer spitting off a Toronto hotel balcony, a third party tour bus drug bust, onstage intimacy with a fan-thrown iPhone, and just days ago, clambering atop an SUV in a Hamptons nightclub parking lot while an altercation took place elsewhere.

And let's not forget that his neighbors in California want him out of the gated community where the singer lives when he's not on tour because of his constant speeding and partying, endangering the lives of the people who live in the exclusive area.

Former wild child pop star Mark Wahlberg apparently saw himself in Bieber and decided to offer some fatherly advice now that he's all grown up, has a family and has managed to cultivate a successful career in Hollywood after changing his behavior.

"Justin, are you listening? Don't be so naughty," Wahlberg reportedly said in an interview with The Sun. "Be a nice boy, pull your trousers up, make your mom proud and stop smoking weed, you little bastard."

"He's a teenager living in a different day and age. I was in prison before I got a record out and I don't think he's been to prison," added Wahlberg, remembering his childhood years.

And then he said the most important thing of all. "He's a nice enough kid and you're going to be a teenager, but if you're being a teen in the spotlight you're going to be criticized for it. This career can be short-lived - you might as well be the best you can while you're doing it."

Wahlberg and Bieber were expected to collaborate on a film in the future. The 42-year-old actor said earlier this year he wanted to cast the young superstar in a basketball movie, hoping that their schedules allowed it. There are no updates on that matter.
