This is what Julianne Moore shared about her experience during the filming the movie and more:
Julianne Moore: One of the things that was so great for me when I became an actor was being in the situation where I would be working with a group of people that would be either my age or older. I remember working with George Gaynes when he was 70 years old and I was playing his wife. I felt like everything collapsed and suddenly I was a peer to this person. One of the things I find interesting to me when I work with people younger actors is to do what they did to me that they taught me but at the same time treated me as a peer. It has been 17 years since I worked with Jeff Bridges and it is great to work with Jeff again. This movie is just so exciting for us and we didn’t even start filming a year ago we started filming in March 2014 so that’s what’s so astonishing about it we made it in such a short amount of time. We got it distributed quickly and it has received so much support so far. It is amazing because so many times you make movies and they are not even seen so I feel very grateful and taking it one day at a time. Our costumes were tremendous mine had tails, bones that came out the back, feathers, I had extra hair, contact lenses, special make up, big shoes it was the most daunting part I think for me. Jackie West costumes is what made the character for me and I’m just thrilled to get to do that.
