It’s been a little over 2 years since Jenni Rivera died on a plane crash. From that day on, a lot of gossip has surrounded the Rivera family. It feels as if “La Diva de la Banda’s” widower, Esteban Loaiza, is feeling a little left out lately. Especially after Chiquis Rivera presented her memoirs in the book “Forgiveness.” The former baseball player has been making some serious allegations about the late singer:
“In the end, I realized that she was unfaithful to me, it was something that really hurt me a lot and I never thought that she was going to divorce me.” Said Loaiza during a recent interview where he accuses Rivera of being unfaithful, and adds “She was nice to me, but sometimes she would treat me like she used to be: aggressive in the way she talked, in the way she did things. Sometimes I would think about doing things, then I would do them, and sometimes she would get mad at me for it.”
Rivera’s brother, Juan Rivera, has been giving his opinion on the subject and is asking Loaiza to “shut his mouth.”
“I don’t understand what his deal is, I don’t know if he has a plan or not, I don’t know if he has even read a single book in his life, I don’t know if he is doing it for money, or to clear his name, and I don’t know if people are interested in what he has to say.” - Juan Rivera responded when Gustavo Adolfo Infante asked his opinion about Loaiza possibly releasing book or documentary revealing the details about his marriage to Jenni Rivera in the near future.
Rivera, who seemed to be humored by the situation, added “I just hope that if he is going to say something, he has proof, and that’s it. I think it’s funny, though, because he has a woman, he has a new life, but he seems to keep getting stuck in this situation.”
Finally, he concluded the interview by saying “I just think it’s disrespectful for his actual partner.”
We don’t know if Esteban Loaiza will follow through with his book, or documentary, but we agree with Juan Rivera and hope that he has some proof on the subject because unfortunately, Jenni Rivera is no longer with us to defend herself.
