Spanish-language television news program, Primer Impacto, showed the testament that the Mexican singer Juan Gabriel left, content of the will that was only known by part of "Divo de Juárez" family until now.
Juan Gabriel died at the age of 66 at his home in Santa Monica, California due to a heart attack, in 2016. After his sudden death, his will was an incognito and gave much to talk about after several supposedly biological children that appeared. In the four-page document signed June 5, 2014 in Quintana Roo, Mexico, Juan Gabriel states that he is single and has four children, all with the surnames Aguilera Salas, but he never mentions his biological children Luis Alberto and Joao.
In the first clause, the singer appointed Iván Aguilera as universal and unique inheritor of all his assets, also signaling to the lawyer Guillermo Pous Fernández like executor. Juan Gabriel used his passport as a form of identity and validation, however this had been issued on March 19, 2008 and expiring on March 19, 2009. On that same date was in force then another passport, which would have been issued 100 days before the day that he registered his last will.
This means that if the identity document used is not current or does not currently correspond to the testament, this could be a cause of annulment. In addition to this discrepancy, the singer's last will lack signature and fingerprints. If this is finally considered an error of document form when it comes to distributing the goods, a new legal cause could be opened to question the validity.
