Jimmy Kimmel will be marrying his late night comedy show's co-head writer in July. The former Brooklyn altar boy turned comic said a Catholic priest will officiate the "intimate" ceremony between himself and fiancée Molly McNearney, a writer for ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live!"
Jimmy Kimmel's wedding will be his second, as he and his ex-wife Gina Kimmel divorced in 2002 after 14 years of marriage. Kimmel, 45, later dated actress Sarah Silverman for a number of years before starting a relationship with McNearney in 2009. Kimmel and his fiancée became engaged in Summer 2012.
Prior to "Jimmy Kimmel Live!," the comedian's career has included co-starring in the former Comedy Central improvisational comedy program "The Man Show." He also is remembered well for playing a trustee of sorts as 1990's game show contestants sought to "Win Ben Stein's Money."
The half-Italian Kimmel told Us Weekly that McNearney has agreed to partake in her first "Feast of Seven Fishes" this holiday season. There is also no report as to the feelings of actor Ben Affleck regarding Jimmy Kimmel's wedding.
