Jessica Alba is the latest big name actress who will be appearing in an upcoming Netflix series titled, “Confessions on the 7:45.”
The series is based on a book of the same name written by Lisa Unger.
In the synopsis put up by Variety, Alba takes on the role of a working mother named Selena Murphy. She meets a beautiful stranger on a train named Martha who confesses that she is stuck in an affair with her boss.
In turn, Selena would confess about suspecting that her husband was having an affair with the nanny. Both would part ways when Selena gets off at her stop and both would (presumably) never meet again.
However, a sudden change in Selena’s life would happened days after that meeting. The nanny goes missing and her marriage woes get worse. At this point, she recalls Martha and wonders who she really is. And from there, it appears that Selena will be in for surprise once she figures out who that beautiful stranger really is.
It appears Alba will do more than just take on the role of the working mom. She will also reportedly serve as an executive producer for the series.
The latest starrer for the Golden Globe nominee should be something to watch. Her most recent role was on “LA’s Finest, a Spectrum Original series set in the world of the Bad Boys movies in which she appeared alongside Gabrielle Union.
Tasked to write the series will be Charise Castro Smith. She will also act as the showrunner and executive producer of “Confessions on the 7:45.” Among her past work include “The Haunting of Hill House” and “The Exorcist.”
Michael Rotenberg and Oly Obst of 3 Arts will also executive produce.
There is no timetable on when “Confessions on the 7:45” will come out, same with the production timetable.
