Jennifer Lopez excited fans with her return to the judge’s panel on her new show "World Of Dance," and now fans are in for an extra treat. The Puerto Rican singer is embracing her roots with an upcoming Spanish-language album.

According to FOX News Latino, the 47-year-old superstar is joining forces with her ex-husband Marc Anthony who is producing the album. Lopez is set to release her second Spanish-Language album next year and the first single will be hitting airwaves in November.

Anthony will be serving as the executive producer for the project through an alliance between his entertainment company Magnus Media and Sony Music Latin.

“I am so excited and really looking forward to this new musical journey and to celebrate my Latin roots with Marc Anthony and the Sony/Magnus family,” Lopez said in a statement.

The album has yet to be named but the buzz is crazy. He first Spanish-language album “Como Ama Una Mujer” was released in 2007 with Anthony serving as a co-producer at the time.

“Jennifer has had enormous accomplishments in her career and has been representing our culture all over the world from day one,” Marc Anthony said in a statement. “Her artistry, professionalism and passion for music are just some of the many attributes that have earned her a unique place in the entertainment world that very few people have been able to obtain. I am looking forward to our creative collaboration and to be part of continuing her musical legacy.”

Billboard reported that the album debuted at No.10 in the Billboard 200 chart and was, at the time, only the fifth Spanish-language album to debut in the top 10 of the all-genre chart.

Lopez also set the record for the largest sales week for an act’s debut Spanish-Language album.

“Jennifer is one of the most iconic Latina superstars of all time and a longtime member of the Sony family,” added Afo Verde, Chairman & CEO, Latin America, Spain and Portugal, Sony Music Entertainment. “We're very excited to partner with her and Marc on a project that is all about spotlighting her spirit and soul."

Although Anthony and Lopez split, their music chemistry is undeniable. We wouldn’t be surprised if Lopez breaks another record with this upcoming album. The expectations are very high!
