Venezuelan artist Miguel Ignacio Mendoza, better known in the music industry as Nacho, announced an upcoming musical collaboration with Jennifer Lopez on social media.
“The secret is to never stop,” read the caption on the video Nacho shared with his Instagram followers on Wednesday.
In the clip, the 32-year-old singer introduced JLo with a speech that describes his excitement to be working with the one and only “Jenny from the block.”
“The music and the entertainment worlds have a queen, a great queen, and that queen keeps Latino roots very close to her heart,” he said in the footage. “It makes me very proud to be able to be here, writing and producing with her.”
He continued, “And singing, and recording, and dancing. Her name is Jennifer, but the world knows her as JLo.”
As soon as he revealed the name of the sexy Boricua, who has been giggling in the background through the whole thing, she comes up to the camera and smooches the “Andas en Mi Cabeza” performer.
About six weeks ago, Nacho revealed he had just signed a record deal with Magnus, a label owned by Lopez’s ex-husband Marc Anthony.
“We will continue to make history, and we will leave a strong legacy in Latin music through our company,” Nacho wrote. “The sky is the limit. Thank you for believing, enjoying, for jumping on board. Thank you for supporting my songs, you motivate me and make me want to be a better composer every day. We will make a bomb, one that doesn’t kill but gives life and makes you stronger.”
Could this have anything to do with Nacho and JLo’s collaboration?
In the meantime, the “Shades of Blue” star continues to wow audiences with her show, “All I Have,” currently playing at the AXIS theatre in Planet Hollywood, Las Vegas.
