Jennifer Aniston is a believer of second chances, or so the tabloids say. Allegedly, she has been telling her friends that she and ex-husband Brad Pitt are “giving it another shot.”
Gossip Cop finally puts an end to these baseless rumors by reporting that there’s absolutely no truth to this story. Spokespeople for both Aniston and Pitt have already emphasized multiple times that they’re not back together, nor are trying to rekindle what they ended more than a decade ago.
It is true, however, that their communication continues. Entertainment Tonight has reported that Aniston remains friends with Pitt, who actually made an appearance at her star-studded 50th birthday party celebration last February at the Sunset Tower in Los Angeles, California.
“Jen and Brad have remained friends and have spoken with each other quite a few times since they both became single,” a source said. “They’ve come so far since their marriage and plan to stay friends for life,” he added.
Pitt was married to Aniston from 2000 to 2005, then to Angelina Jolie from 2014, though they have started dating back in 2007. Aniston, on the other hand, was married to Justin Theroux from 2015 to 2018.
The rumor in question was published by the latest issue of OK! Australia, where it was reported that the past months were spent by the two in making their relationship work this time around. An insider was allegedly said to have told that the actress decided to “come clean to her inner circle” about the reconciliation.
“For the first time in years, she was looking at the Brad she remembered, not the one Angelina seems to parade around like a trophy,” the unnamed fake source recalled. Just recently, the magazine’s American counterpart was already called out for claiming that the two were “very serious.”
At her golden age, Aniston is at the top of her career. She’s gearing up for the release of her Apple TV show, “The Morning Show,” which she co-stars with Reese Witherspoon. A film with rival platform Netflix, “First Ladies,” is also in the works.
