Jennifer Aniston is blissfully single and clearly not in the mood to mingle. Post her breakup from Justin Theroux in 2017, the 50-year-old actress has been focused on the one thing that matters most to her — her work. And she's enjoying being busy and immersed in work.
During a recent radio show with her good friend Howard Stern, Aniston made her opinions about finding love known. The movie icon and shock jock are thick friends, and they love hanging out in real life.
But on being offered to set her up by Stern, her answer was a clear no. The “Friends” star found the idea absurd. “I hate it,” said the actress on Monday. “Hey, listen, I just don't like being set up. I don't like it. I hate it,” she added.
While Brad Pitt and John Mayer are some of the names she’s had relationships with in the past, the actress is in no mood for steady romance at present. It has been revealed that she likes being single and is too busy to date at the moment.
Fans, however, will always remember the whirlwind romance she shared with Pitt. She got married to “World War Z” actor two years after dating him. They were married for five years before they decided to go on different ways.
The actress then started dating Theroux in 2011, and then they married in 2015. However, their relationship turned sour, and the two split at the end of 2017.
During the course of the interview with Stern, Aniston categorically spoke more about her work and what fans could expect from the second season of “The Morning Show,” the Apple+ series that features Reese Witherspoon and Steve Carell as well.
This show marks Aniston’s first series regular role post the cult-favorite series “Friends.” The show will launch on the new Apple TV streaming service on Nov. 1.
In this Appe+ series, Aniston will essay the role of a news anchor who single-handedly shoulders a morning show after her co-anchor gets sacked after being embroiled in an alleged sexual misconduct scandal. The actress also hinted at prepping for the next season of the show.
Aniston also hinted that there will be little possibility of a “Friends” reboot. But their team thoroughly misses it, and not too long ago they did have a meal together, revealed the actress.
“I really think there is an idea if there is a reboot of the show, it won't be even close to as good what it was,” said the actress. “So why do it? It would ruin it,” she added.
