Jennifer Aniston And Justin Theroux, Not Brad Pitt, Are More Likely To Reunite

Rumors of a reconciliation between Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt are practically all over the news these days as Pitt and Angelina Jolie are now finalizing their divorce, while Aniston and Justin Theroux have already called it quits last February.

But while fans of Pitt and Aniston are loudly rooting for them, fans of Aniston and Theroux are lurking around, poised that the husband and wife of three years are more likely to get back together than Aniston and Pitt.

Pitt and Aniston gave their fans some hope when Aniston invited Pitt to her birthday party last February. Aniston was reportedly very happy that Pitt showed, greeting him with a big hug and taking time for a quick chat.

While they have managed to stay friends despite their painful history, fans aren’t supposed to read too much into the fact that Pitt joined in. According to Aniston’s friends, Aniston and Pitt are not on the path of dating and Aniston doesn’t have plans of getting back together with her ex. They are friendly, but that is all about it.

The decision to not go beyond the friendship lane seems mutual. After attending Aniston’s party, Pitt gave a funny yet telling answer to reporters who asked him if he was getting back together with Aniston. “Oh my God!” he said, somewhat confirming that he doesn’t have plans either.

Meanwhile, it’s a different story for Aniston and Theroux. After dating for five years and tying the knot in 2015, the former couple announced their split in February 2018. At that time, sources close to them revealed that the split was due to them spending too much time apart and wanting to pursue different things.

Now Theroux’s actions are sparking speculations that they could rekindle their romance. As Aniston celebrated her birthday last February, she got a special shoutout from Theroux that made everybody giddy.

“Happy birthday to this fierce woman,” he wrote on Instagram. “Fiercely loving. Fiercely kind … and fiercely funny. Love you B,” he added.

Although sending a birthday wish to an ex is not too out of the ordinary, it’s the “Love you B” that made people raise eyebrows. After all, the reason for their split was something too easy for them to work out — should they both be willing to. Also, they have remained amicable since they parted ways last year, so it’s easier to imagine them being on the same boat and working things out together than Aniston and Pitt.

Right now, Aniston is busy with her career and many projects. Earlier this year, she revealed in an interview that she has “zero time” to date a new man and jump into another relationship. Considering that, settling for the most recent man in his life, Theroux, is the best way to go. All they need is some patching up.
