Jenni Rivera is still making headlines a year after her untimely death. This time around, it’s because Tony Andalón, a member of the group Conjunto Majestad, claims he and “La Diva de la Banda” were romantically involved while the two were married to other people. He revealed in an interview with Estrella TV that his relationship with Rivera lasted for about a year and a half.
Andalón went on, saying that Jenni was married to Juan López at the time he met her in a tour in Arizona. He claims that they talked for hours after the show, and like a “true gentleman” he offered to escort her to her room, and later “happened what had to happen.” “We couldn’t be a couple in the eyes of everyone, because we were both married to other people,” Andalón said.
He also confessed that eventually, Jenni’s husband at the time found out, and cited Tony to confront him. “He cited me in front of a radio station and asked me if I had anything to do with his wife.” However, he claims the reason why their extra-marital relationship ended was because he was overlooking his musical career and he says he was the one to break things off with the beloved diva.
