Javier Hernandez Dead: Brother Of Singer Pablo Montero Dies After Reportedly Being Stabbed Multiple Times

Javier Hernandez, brother of Latin music singer Pablo Montero, was found dead early Wednesday in Ciudad de Torreón, Coahuila. He reportedly had stab wounds primarily in his chest, abdomen and head. The crime was said to have occurred during the early hours of the morning, El Universal reported.

His body was left at avenida Ocampo and calle González Ortega, the second block in the city. Preliminary tests have already confirmed the identity of the body, according to Notimex, the office of the State Attorney General. Family members have also confirmed. This is the second of Montero's brothers who has been killed. The other, Oliver Hernández Rodríguez, was murdered in 2010, Diaro La Verdad reported. He was shot multiple times.

Police found the knife near the scene of the crime. The incident is believed to have occurred at around 1 a.m.. Shortly following his attack, a woman reported being seriously injured and was treated by paramedics before being transferred to a local hospital. Representatives from the Public Ministry have begun investigating the case.
