A 36-year-old Japanese man, whose "love" of women drives his ambitions, has six partners and 10 kids wants to father a total of 54 children to become the "god of marriage."

Ryuta Watanabe put his virility on display during an appearance on the Japanese TV show Abema Prime, during which he said he wants 44 more children as well as more wives and girlfriends.

"I just love women. As long as we love each other equally, there won't be any problems," Watanabe said, according to the South China Morning Post.

He wants to beat Tokugawa Ienari's record, a military leader who fathered 53 children with 27 women before his death in1841.

"I want to have 54 children so my name will go down in history," he said before adding he is "still looking for new wives."

Watanabe currently has two girlfriends, whom he met on social media, and four wives, including a 24-year-old wife he is estranged from. He lives with three of his wives and two of his children. Each of his wives has her own room in their home and Watanabe rotates spending the night with each one.

He also has not worked for the past decade, opting to stay home to cook, clean, and take care of his children while using his partners' incomes to pay for the families expenses, which total to $6,000 per month, the South China Morning Post reported.

Since polygamy is illegal in Japan, all of his wives are common-law marriages. They are recognized as long-term partners without formal registration.
