Marvel's awesome "Guardians Of The Galaxy" is easily ranked as one of the best movies of the summer. Unfortunately, summer's over and the blockbuster movies come to an end. However, the James Bond 007 franchise has just made an exciting new announcement: a spokesman confirmed that WWE wrestler and actor Dave Batista, who played Drax the Destroyer in "Guardians of the Galaxy," will play the new Bond villain for the next film.
The next Bond film, also known as "James Bond 24," is slated to debut for Summer 2015. According to a leaked casting call, the upcoming movie was looking for a truly iconic villain of the caliber of Jaws and Oddjob. The new villain is tentatively known as "Hinx," a henchman/assassin that stands at over 6 foot 2 inches. The studio also requests a villain that is extremely imposing and physically fit.
So what's the deal with this "Hinx?" Well, we've yet to learn any plot details regarding the upcoming "James Bond 24," but according to the casting call, there will be several fights with James Bond that will require stunt training. Hinx will also have to drive.
Perhaps just as important as the next Bond villain is the next Bond girl. According to reports, Kate Upton, Lucy Watson, and Joanne Froggatt all have expressed a desire to become the next Bond Girl. However, rumors suggest French actress Léa Seydoux is the top candidate for the role.
