J Balvin is happy to be well and alive after a recent health scare. The Colombian singer alarmed fans when he revealed that he was hospitalized early this week.
According to his snapchat videos, where he documented the entire incident, the urban artist spent Monday to Tuesday at a hospital in Los Angeles, California. His reason for the visit was due to extreme exhaustion. On Snapchat, Balvin shared photos and videos of his hospital stay and at one point shared relieving news when he said he was receiving the best medical care.
Following his health scare, the "Ginza" singer headed to Instagram to announce that he was out of the hospital and doing better. "Even though my body is tired, thank God for everything," he said, inviting his over nine million followers to follow him on snapchat (jbalvinofficial) for his hospital adventure.
In fact, the singer returned to Mexico to continue filming "La Voz Mexico," alongside Alejandro Sanz, Gloria Trevi and Los Tigres del Norte. "Now in Mexico, here I am still on my feet," he expressed on Instagram. "Thank you to everyone who was worried for me," he added.
This isn't the first time that the 30-year-old Latin Grammy winner is hospitalized due to his stressful lifestyle. In a previous interview with 20 Minutos, he even revealed that he hit rock bottom due to his busy career. "A depression that almost killed me is the worst thing that has happened to me," he said, emphasizing that you have to be careful with what you wish you. In his case, he wished for success. "I had a depression that almost killed me for not putting limits or balance, and I paid for the consequences," he added.
"It was my fault, I don't blame anyone else, it was my decision to work like a slave and I forgot that behind every slave there's something more important: the person," he confessed.
