Disney Parks is celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the iconic Fantasyland It's A Small World attraction kicking off a global celebration in benefit of UNICEF. Latino celebrities have joined the party and taken part of this massive celebration singing the famous tune in Spanish. Telenovela star Jacky Bracamontes was joined by her adorable daughter Mini Jacky singing "Muy Pequeño El Mundo Es." Mini Jacky, who's mother is expecting was all smiles singing the happy song. Angélica María and Angélica Vale also took part in the sing-off with the mother-daughter duo taking on different verses in their unique style.
Other celebrities that were part of the celebration were Margarita La Diosa De La Cumbia, María José, Joey Montana, Marisela, Rio Roma, Evita Muñoz "Chachita" and La Original Banda El Limón. The festivities will also give way to the launch of SmallWorld50.com, a virtual hub exclusively dedicated to the attraction. On the site, fans from around the world will be able to record themselves singing "it's a small world" and create digital dolls based on the ride to share with family and friends on their favorite social networks. The celebration continues April 10, when hundreds of voices from the Disneyland Resort in California, Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, Tokyo Disney Resort in Japan, Disneyland Paris in France and Hong Kong Disneyland Resort will be united in a global sing-along.
The It's A Small World attraction was created and made its debut for the 1964 World's Fair and later replicated to the other Disney theme parks. The original title for the ride was "Children of the World" and they would sing and dance their respective national anthems playing all at once, that resulted chaotic. The Sherman Brothers, Robert B. Sherman and Richard M. Sherman, were responsible for creating the iconic song that has been translated into numerous languages.
