Former model Erica Pelosini deeply regrets her 'topless Yacht moment’ with Princess Eugenie’s husband Jack Brooksbank.
Pelosini, who was photographed chilling with Brooksbank on a vintage speedboat in the Italian island of Capri with two other women, has apologized to the entrepreneur’s royal wife for putting her in an awkward spot. The 30-something model admitted that it wasn’t appropriate on her part to take off the bikini. She also apologized for "any confusion and embarrassment caused by the snaps", reports Mail Online.
A fresh controversy broke as soon as pictures of Eugenie's husband having a great time with female friends--Erica Pelosini, Rachel Zalis, and Maria Buccellati on a vintage speedboat made the rounds over the weekend. Pelosini, however, decided to step in and clear the air.
Citing how it was unfair for people to “jump to conclusions," Pelosini maintained that it was hurtful to see the comments that were directed toward everyone involved. She admitted to being a little negligent about the timing when she decided to take off her top, but revealed how uncomfortable it got as the bikini got wet.
The model further enthused that she felt bad that things appeared a little awry given Eugenie’s absence from the entire scenario. The princess had stayed back in Windsor with their five-month-old son August, while Brooksbank traveled alone to attend a star-studded charity ball.
Mom-in-law Sarah Ferguson also spoke in support of the entrepreneur in one of her recent interviews and maintained that he was a "man of integrity" irrespective of what was floating about in the media.
The photographs were flashed across many British tabloids, and social media pages, as it garnered mammoth attention. In one of the photographs that were circulated, Buccellati had her arms wrapped around Brooksbank as they voyaged via the Amalfi coast. The image that saw her flaunt her svelte silhouette in a flashy orange swimsuit also made it to one of her Instagram stories.
Brooksbank was also seen reading a book, then sipping a drink as he chatted to the craft’s captain, The Sun reported.
Eugenie and Brooksbank walked down the aisle in October 2018 and they currently live in Prince Harry and Meghan’s former residence, the Frogmore Cottage. Pelosini lives with her husband Louis Leeman in the Beverly Hills, California and continues to be extremely popular in the international fashion scene.
