iPhone 6's release date may still be a few months away. But Apple fans are learning more and more about the yet-to-be released smartphone as information surrounding the iPhone 6 begins to surface. According to a new report in the Korean publication ET News, the iPhone 6 will be just 6 millimeters thin, making it the second thinnest smartphone available on the market and the thinnest iPhone ever released. The Korean publication has dubbed the phone 'iPhone Air.'
While Apple has not confirmed the rumor, and indeed the label iPhone Air might be preemptory, there is evidence to suggest the next iPhone release will see the thinnest model to date. iPhones have been getting progressively thinner - the iPhone 5 was by far the thinnest model we've seen. Moreover, rumors are suggesting that the iPhone 6 will have a much larger screen size than ever before - up to 5 inches. This would give the phone the capacity to store the necessary technology in a super thin model.
Other rumors swirling at the moment suggest that Apple may be offering consumers two different sizes in its next iPhone release, and even suggest a possible iPhone 6C at a lower price point. The iPhone 6 may also come equipped with ultra hard sapphire glass and the latest camera technology.
