iPhone 6 Release Date Rumors: Smartphone To Be Released July 2014

iPhone 6 release date rumors have been builidng up steadily, particularly during the holidays when everyone's minds are set on the latest technologies. A new report from Ivestors Business Daily claims that "Apple is expected to introduce its next iPhone, possibly named the iPhone 6, in June or July 2014." This contradicts previous reports of a September of October release. The report also quotes Susquehanna Financial Group analyst Mehdi Hosseini who states that It's "actually expected to be a more meaningful product refresh" than the models launched this year.

iPhone 6 release date rumors have previously focused on a third quarter time frame. A report last week suggeted the new phone will launch in September 2014. However, the new information from IBD suggests the smartphone could be released sooner than expected. This could have a positive effect on the stocks of tech company ScanDisk expected to be "one of the prime beneficiaries" when Apple updates its iPhone model. ScanDisk is one of the most significant suppliers to the smartphone market in China. The July rumors have not been confirmed by Apple.

iPhone 6 is set to include some radical new features. The latest rumors include a larger screen made of super hard Sapphire glass, a possible wrap around display, retina scanner, face recognition and a refocusable camera.
