New rumors and analysis from Apple watchers are suggesting that Apple is preparing to release the iPhone 6 in the early part of 2014. The company has only recently released two new additions to the iPhone family, the iPhone 5s and the iPhone 5c. According to thefullsignal.com Brian White, an analyst with Cantor Fitzgerald with impressive prediction skills in regards to Apple believes the iPhone 6 will be out in the second or third quarter of 2014. Another financial analyst with Susquehanna Financial Group Chris Caso has also predicted an early 2014 release for the iPhone 6.
If the rumors prove true Apple is likely looking to increase competition with Samsung. The Apple rival puts out numerous smartphones each year in order to compete with the iPhone. The release of the iPhone 5s brought with it a few new features including an upgraded camera, thumbprint lock technology and the updated iOS 7 operating system. The 5s has been ridiculed as being virtually no different than the iPhone 5, which makes consumers wonder what will the iPhone 6 feature?
So far the biggest rumor is that the iPhone 6 will feature a bigger display than the iPhone 5s. Many Apple competitors have already launched rival smartphones with five-inch displays. Rumors suggest that Apple is aware of the consumer demand for a larger screen. It has been reported that Apple is working on the issue and the iPhone 6 could be the first Apple phone with a larger display. The Wall Street Journal has gone so far as to predict Apple is going to launch the iPhone 6 with a six-inch display. Apple keeps tight lipped about their iPhones and other products. The company won't even hint at a release date or features the iPhone will have. Until Apple spills the beans all iPhone 6 rumors will remain just that.
