'What is the blue screen of death' you may be asking yourself? Well a lucky few iPhone 5S owners have discovered a disastrous blue screen, according to Geek. Users of the new Apple iPhone 5S have discovered a glitch in the new iOS 7 software and possibly the hardware. When switching between the iWorks applications via the iOS 7 card interface, the iPhone 5S throws a blue screen of death at the user, similar to the screen of an old Windows PC when it crashed.
Blue screen of death may be a little harsh to describe the glitch because when it happens it's only for a second and it's very minimal compared to the Windows version that would fill your screen with bothersome text. The blue screen appears in a bright blue tint and a split second later the iPhone 5S reboots and heads back to the iOS 7. Take a look of the video below to see how the glitch works and how long it last.
Geek reports there is a quick workaround until apple fixes the blue screen of death glitch. You can disable iCloud synchronization for your iWork files and you'll be able to outsmart the blue screen of death bug. However, disabling iWork will limit the usability of the applications on your iPhone 5S but at least you won't have the blue screen of death bug.
This new glitch has been popping up on Apple's customer forums for almost a month but Apple has not responded with a solution of update as of yet. It could be a problem with the iWork apps themselves that could require some tweaking.
