Apple is expected to release a pro level iPad in early 2014 if we believe the latest rumors. According to The Korea Times, "The 12.9-inch iPad will have improved picture quality. As the Apple partner intends to boost its lineup for displays that have almost ultra high-definition (UHD) quality, the upcoming iPad will provide very clear quality similar to that of UHD.” Speculation of a larger sized tabled is not new as rumors of a bigger screen iPad have always been rampant. In July of this year, The Wall Street Journal reported that the Cupertino company was testing larger screens for iPhones and iPads. "In recent months, Apple has asked for prototype smartphone screens larger than 4 inches and has also asked for screen designs for a new tablet device measuring slightly less than 13 inches diagonally, they said. The current iPhone 5 has a four-inch screen, while the iPad has a 9.7-inch screen. The iPad Mini, a stripped-down version of its tablet computer, has a 7.9-inch screen."
