Following a report from yesterday that appeared to show photos of the iPad 5's silver rear shell a new report from MacRumors has emerged with new photos from FantasticFone that show a silver rear shell for Apple's next generation iPad mini.

The pics showcase typical features such as a rear facing camera, speakers and the Lightning port. It also features an embedded black Apple Logo on the back in the center. This is a change from the current iPad mini which uses a printed mirrored logo.

Aside from the embedded logo the picture appear to have the exact same features as the current generation iPad.

Apple is expected to launch the next-generation iPad mini 2 with a Retina display sometime this fall alongside the highly rumored plastic iPhone.

It is also rumored that Apple will be unveiling their fifth-generation iPad as soon as next month.
