A video has appeared on YouTube apparently showing the latest device to come out of Apple, the iPad 5. The video was posted on the Unbox Therapy channel and has offered viewers a two-minute video comparing the iPad 5 to the previous generation iPad and the iPad mini. The video highlights the lighter, thinner version of the iPad. The Apple created device also has improved speakers and separated buttons to control volume. The designer of the iPad 5 is much narrower than the version that came before it.
One feature the iPad 5 boasts is that despite the smaller. more slender size of the tablet the device's screen will be the same size as its predecessor. In the video the host showed off the differences between the two iPads by comparing them side by side. When he removed the iPad 5's face plate it proved the screen's size will not change. Designtrends.com reports that "To shrink the design Apple has trimmed a significant amount of bezel from the sides of the device. That will make the trim new iPad easier to hold and manipulate."
Apple will hold a special media event on September 10 to announce a number of new devices. Apple fans hope to hear about the next generation iPhone as well as the latest version of the iPad. When the iPad 5 was first announced it was also reported the tablet would be available in March of 2013. As more and more details and reports were leaked it seems the device will not be released until October of this year at the earliest.
