According to Macrumors and BGR Apple has already reportedly been seeding iOS 7.0.3 to some of their employees and carrier partners, which also lead many to report that the official third update will be released as soon as next week. BGR reports, "According to our sources, Apple has seeded iOS 7.0.3 to employees and partners for final testing. We're not sure exactly when the new software will be released to the public, but we believe it will be sometime next week. The build number of iOS 7.0.3 is 11B491."
As pointed out by Macrumors the numbering for this build is a little odd. Macrumors reports, "The claimed build number appears to be somewhat at odds with Apple's usual numbering patterns over the past several years, which should see all iOS 7.0.x releases carrying 11Axxx build numbers before moving on to 11Bxxx builds for iOS 7.1.x." It is worth noting that the company strayed away from this pattern in earlier iOS versions.
Macrumors also points out that a number of devices have visited their site running the latest version of iOS 7.0.3 since Friday September 20.
Apple's latest firmware update comes just a week after the 7.0.2 update that brought several bug fixes and one big fix that allowed unwanted users to access a iPhone through the home screen and bypass the passcode lock.
Apple's iOS 7 was released to the public September 18 with a special iOS 7.0.1 version for Apple's newest iPhone 5S and 5C devices.
What are your thoughts on Apple and iOS 7? Do you like it or you would you have rather stuck with iOS 6?
