Intercepted Audio Reveals Russian Soldiers Complaining About North Korean Troops: 'What the F--k to Do with Them?'

Intercepted audio has emerged revealing Russian soldiers expressing frustration and skepticism about the deployment of North Korean troops to assist in Vladimir Putin's invasion of Ukraine.

As tensions escalate in the Russia-Ukraine war, reports have surfaced about North Korean soldiers, referred to as the "K Battalion," getting ready to be deployed the morning of ​​ October 24. This left many, specifically Russian troops, concerned about command and logistics, CNN reported.

The audio in question was leaked Friday through intercepted communications obtained by the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine. In the recording, captured on the night of October 23, Russian soldiers can be heard sharing their contempt for the North Korean units coming to their aid.

At one point in the transmission, Russian soldiers are heard referring to the North Korean troops as "the f**king Chinese."

The same individual is then heard again, saying: "And he's like standing there with his eyes out, like... f**k," the soldier says. "He came here and says what the f**k to do with them."

Ukrainian intelligence seemingly shared the recordings to inform the public and potentially influence perceptions of the escalating military conflict.

Meanwhile, President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, has indicated that the first North Korean troops are still expected to be deployed October 27-28, further intensifying the situation.

"This is a clear step in Russia's escalation that matters, unlike all the disinformation circulating in Kazan these days," Zelenskyy said. "The actual involvement of North Korea in combat should be met not with a blind eye and confused comments, but with tangible pressure on both Moscow and Pyongyang to comply with the UN Charter and to punish escalation."
