Popular streamer Adin Ross clapped back at haters for criticizing him after surprising a Florida man with an expensive boat and streaming deal, despite newly surfaced details about his criminal past.
During a livestream on October 9, Adin Ross gifted Joseph Malinowski, known as Lieutenant Dan, a brand new boat "valued between $50,000 and $100,000" along with a livestream deal on Kick.
Ross was moved after Malinowski went viral online for riding out Hurricane Milton and Helene on his old sailboat, prompting the lavish gifts.
Despite his generosity, the public is concerned about how deserving Malinowski is, citing concerns about his past convictions, including assault and battery, according to the Tribune. Some have even come face to face with Malinowski, yelling obscenities at him and claiming that Ross had gone back on the deal.
Regardless of how the public feels, Ross has remained committed to supporting Malinowski.
"All you people that are saying don't pay him, everyone's got a f***ing past," Ross said, according to the outlet. "[Malinowski] is getting his boat and he is getting everything! You've got people coming up to him, 'Adin Ross canceled your sh*t, what do you feel about it?' Leave that man alone, I am working myself out with him, we are going to make sure he gets the boat and the money and everything."
Ross and Malinowski appear to be on good terms, and the promised gift and Kick deal seem to be progressing.
