Looks like “inFamous: Second Son” won’t feature a multiplayer mode, according to IGN. In a conversation with Taiwanese website UDN brand development director Ken Schramm clarifies the situation saying that while the main character of the title, Delsin Rowe, will indeed meet other NPC’s throughout the game overall “inFamous: Second Son” is designed for a single-player experience. Meanwhile in the interview it was revealed that the game has an open architecture, so gamers can partake in other quest outside of the main story.

The only downfall, however, is that only certain situations appear if you’re aligned a certain way, so depending on your choices in the game you may lose access to certain situations forever. It has also been revealed that when “inFamous: Second Son” does hit retail shelves it will come in both a Special Edition version and Collector’s Edition. The Special Edition of the game includes Cole’s Legacy DLC bonus mission which acts like a prologue for the game and a fashionable Delsin Rowe beanie hat.

Meanwhile the Collector's Edition comes with the beanie and Cole's Legacy DLC but adds a denim vest cover for the game, an exclusive in-game vest, a set of badges and a collector's coin. However, the U.S. Collector’s Edition will lack the denim vest. If that isn’t enough a PlayStation 4 bundle has been confirmed. Back in November when an inaccurate release date and box art for the bundle leaked online Sucker Punch co-founder Brian Fleming took to social media to clear the air. He explained the accompanying release date was incorrect, and that the real one would be revealed soon and didn’t deny that the PS4 “inFamous: Second Son” bundle was true.
