Zuria Vega and Daniel Arenas are closed to be confirmed as the leads in the new Televisa telenovela, "Inesperadamente Tú," according to Juan Osorio. According to the producer "it's almost a fact" that the actors will be part of the cast. Vega's last telenovela was "Que Te Perdone Dios" in 2015. The actress then took time off to focus on her maternity and life with her husband Alberto Guerra. For Arenas, his last job was starring opposite Ela Velden on "Despertar Contigo" that recently ended on both Univision and Las Estrellas in México.
Producer Juan Osorio also revealed that he's in talks with Silvia Pinal to star, which would be her return to telenovelas after taking part in "Soy Tu Dueña" opposite Gabriela Spanic and Lucero. Also possibly joining the production is Yahir, better known for his reality show past in "La Academia" Season 1 on TV Azteca. Confirmed for the production are Diana Bracho, who recently revealed that she would not play a villain, and Hector Bonilla, which would mark his return to Televisa after many years working on the rival network. "Inesperadamente Tú" doesn't have an airdate yet, but production is set to take place in Oaxaca starting next month.
Daniel Arenas played Pablo in "Despertar Contigo" where he is a bodyguard after his mother forbade him to be a fireman just like his grandfather and his father were, since the latter died in the line of duty. He is the head of the squad responsible for protecting Antonia. He is Tulia and Herminio’s son, and brother of Cristian and Jenny Paola. He has been dating Cindy for years, but he doesn’t love her anymore; his life takes a twist when he meets Maia as he completely falls in love with her, but nonetheless he really loves her, he is compelled to fool her in order to be with her.
In "Que Te Perdone Dios," Zuria Vega was Abigail, a beautiful, passionate young girl with a strong character. She feels a strong devotion for Renata ignoring that she is actually her real mother. She has been attracted to Mateo ever since she was little, but his heart belongs to another woman. Bitterly disappointed, Abigail accepts to marry a workman from the hacienda and only time will make her realize her one and only love is Mateo.
