iCloud has received a make-over! Apple's iCloud.com has been refreshed with a simple and rejuvenating design. The new look is directly inspired by Apple's soon-to-be released operating system, iOS 7. iOS 7 is the seventh version of Apple's iOS mobile operating system, as the successor to iOS 6, the new processor includes a redesigned user interface and a number of improvements to the operating system's functionality.
Drawing from this new operating system, Apple has created a new user experience for its iCloud website. The new website features redesigned Mail, Calendar, Reminders, Notes and Find my iPhone web apps as well as beta versions of iWork apps Pages, Numbers and Keynote. But the even the aesthetics mirror iOS 7, with the background wallpaper being the same slowly changing wallpaper, and possessing the same streamlined icons. The site also adopts iOS 7's characteristic thinner fonts and pastel color palette.
Users originally say the redesign through beta version made available by Apple in August, but now the site has gone live in anticipation of iOS 7's release today, Sept. 18. The new operating system will be released today, as early as 10 a.m. for the West Coast, and with Apple's promise of delivering the "world's most advanced mobile operating system," we are expecting this update to be quite significant.
The iOS 7 which was released at Apple's highly anticipated Sept. 10 media event, displayed the new technology featured in the operating system. Following today's download and update, Apple users will experience restructured icons along with redesigned core apps, a new Notification Center, webOS-inspired multitasking, and an advanced Control Center.
