An anonymous X account that has posted content promoting white supremacy, xenophobia and violence has—disturbingly—been linked to a Texas-based prosecutor for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), according to an investigative report.

The account, @GlomarResponder, has a history of posting racist and anti-immigrant rhetoric. An investigative reporter for the Texas Observer traced the account to James "Jim" Joseph Rodden, a 44-year-old assistant chief counsel for ICE in Dallas. Rodden represents the agency in immigration court, where judges decide on deportation cases.

The Texas Observer connected Rodden to the account through biographical details shared in posts, including employment history, locations, personal interests, and even courtroom activity. During court hearings where Rodden was present, he was seen using X on his phone at times that corresponded with posts made by @GlomarResponder, the report states.

"America is a White nation, founded by Whites...Our country shoulder favor us," was among the inflammatory posts, published just last month to the account's 17,000 followers. "All blacks are foreign to my people," another post stated.

"Nobody is proposing feeding migrants into tree shredders. Yet," @GlomarResponder wrote in March 2024. "Give it a few more weeks at this level of invasion, and that will be the moderate position."

In another post, the account asserted, "'Migrants' are all criminals," and months later, posted an image that said "It is our duty to guard against the foreign hordes."

Several posts alluded to legal work and ICE. "Yeah, I'm in a courthouse waiting on warrants," the account wrote on January 21. "Turns out there's a lot of b---- work to be done to make mass deportations happen."

He mentioned ICE directly the following day. "My WWII vet grandfather didn't get a chance to kill asians, so he volunteered for Korea. He'd be asking for a short term job with ICE kicking doors and swinging a baton."

Rodden has not publicly responded to the allegations, directing inquiries to ICE's press office. ICE, in a statement, said it is investigating the claims but did not confirm whether Rodden operates the account, which has changed from public to private since the report was published. ICE emphasized that it holds employees to "the highest standards of professionalism."

The revelation raises concerns about bias in immigration proceedings, with legal experts questioning whether Rodden can fairly represent the government in deportation cases.
