Zlatan Ibrahimovic has had an incredible season so far. The Swedish striker already has 11 goals this season, including four goals in Paris Saint-Germain's annihilation of Anderlecht in the Champions Leage last week. According to Goal.com, this incredible form has led to Arsenal's Arsene Wenger to tote the Swedish striker as the best player in the world right now, placing him even beyond the incredible rivlary between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. The French manager told Telefoot: "Is Zlatan better than Messi & Ronaldo? Right now, I'd say he is. At 32, you know how to get the best from your talent."

Ibrahimovic was key to Paris Saint-Germain's incredible 4-0 win over Bastia: his goal in the 13th minute has been talked about as one of the most impressive goals in the game's history. The Swedish player had been tipped to leave PSG following the sigining of Edinson Cavani. However, the former AC Milan striker extended his contract with the club in September, meaning he will stay with the team until 2016. Last wek's World Cup play-off draw pitted Sweden against Portugal, meaing one of either Ibrahimovic or Ronaldo will miss the tournament in Brazil.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is regarded as one of the most talented footballers of his generation. He is currently the captain of the Swedish national team, and will lead his nation's hopes to Brazil. He began his career in the 90s with Juventus, however, his major breakthrough came when he signed with Internazionale. He was the league's highest scorer in 2008-09. In 2009 he transferred to Barcelona, however he moved to AC Milan the next season. He signed a three-year contract with Paris Saint-Germain in July 2012.
