"Hyrule Warriors Legends" is one of the most anticipated titles for the 3DS in early 2016. The 3DS title will introduce some key new characters to the "Legend of Zelda" franchise. One of the most notable is the female link character named Linkle.
The Japanese launch is just a few months away and developer Koei Tecmo is ramping up on marketing with trailers showcasing some of the new characters. The latest video is of Linkle and gamers get a better look at the dual-crossbow wielding characters moveset and combos.
Aside from Linkle, the port includes all previously released DLC, features the ability to switch characters on the fly and adds a new story chapter featuring characters and environments from "The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker" that will serve as an epilogue. Characters Tetra, King Daphnes Nohansen Hyrule and Toon Link, along with Skull Kid from "Majora's Mask" will be added as playable characters. Others will be announced leading up to the game's launch.
"Hyrule Warriors Legends" will arrive January 2016 in Japan, with the western version coming shortly after. Until that time check out the Linkle trailer below:
