Actress Michelle Forbes of such shows like “Battlestar Galactica” and “Star Trek: The Next Generation” has reportedly joined the cast of “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2.”
Forbes will play Lieutenant Jackson, a District 13 soldier who assists Katniss Everdeen on her mission in the final book, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Forbes will only appear in “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 2,” which is said to be filming back-to-back with the first half.
Recently another big name was revealed for the second half of the final Hunger Games film. “Game of Thrones” actress Gwendoline Christie will be joining the movie as Commander Lyme. Christie and Forbes will be joining the final installment of the popular film franchise with Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Julianne Moore and the late Philip Seymour Hoffman.
“The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1” is scheduled to be released this fall November 21 while the second half will release November 20, 2015.
