This could purely be speculation or a huge coincidence, but if it turns out to be real then it is the best news ever! Recent reports have been buzzing that "Born to Die" singer Lana Del Rey will join the ranks of Coldplay and Ellie Goulding for "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" soundtrack. Lana recently announced a six-month hiatus from music, but if these reports are true then we should expect to hear her vocals soon!

The 27-year-old singer was spotted with Lenny Kravitz via Instagram, who plays Cinna in the films series, and magician David Blaine in the studio -- check out the picture below. Now this could totally be a coincidence, but it definitely adds fuel to fire that Del Rey will be sharing her vocals on the upcoming "Catching Fire" soundtrack. But then only further confirming that Del Rey might be involved with the new film, she started following the director to "Catching Fire," Francis Lawrence, on Twitter.

Hypable reports that there are three pieces of evidence to suggest Lana will be contributing a song to the "Hunger Games: Catching Fire" soundtrack having said:

First, "Catching Fire" cast member Lenny Kravitz posted a photo on Instagram of himself, Del Rey and magician David Blaine in the studio together earlier this summer.

Second, Del Rey recently began following "Hunger Games" director Francis Lawrence on Twitter.

Third, Del Rey previously mentioned that her music would appear in two movies released in 2013.

The first "Hunger Games" film featured notable musicians on the soundtrack such as: Taylor Swift, Maroon 5, Arcade Fire, The Decemberist, Kid Cudi, The Civil Wars, and the Low Anthem. With such big names on the first soundtrack, of course they would want to outdo themselves on the second -- and they're off to a great start. Coldplay and Ellie Goulding are set to appear on the soundtrack of "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire."

The second installment of the films franchise, "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire," is set to be released in theaters November 22 with the soundtrack being released in the same month.
