Catching Fire

"Hunger Games" fans rejoice! We have finally got our first actual clip from the "Catching Fire" film courtesy of Liam Hemsworth. The actor was a guest on last night's "Tonight Show" and debuted the first clip from "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire." The clip features Gale (Liam Hemsworth) and Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) on the outskirts of District 12 talking. Katniss tells Gale that she wants to run away but he reminds her that people look up to her and need her as their leader. After Peacekeeper vehicles ride past the both of them Gale then tells Katniss he is staying regardless of her warning that everyone will be killed. Check out the clip below, it starts at the 1:24 mark.

The clip also shows that all Katniss wants is to ensure the safety of her family and friends. Unfortunately for her restless citizens of Panem have other plans for her and it seems Gale is their spokesman: "You haven't hurt people, Katniss - you've given them an opportunity. They just have to be brave enough to take it." This new clip also gives us a look at which direction Francis Lawrence is bringing to the sequel, "Catching Fire."

"The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" is expected to have a huge opening when the film hits theaters November 22. Estimates have the film earning a whopping $185 million upon its debut, which is one of the largest box-office openings ever. This is the second release of new content from the highly-anticipated sequel this month. The first being the TV spot for "Catching Fire."
