Hubertus Von Hohenlohe, the Mexican skier at the center of controversy, has come clean about the origin of his sexy photos. The head of the Mexican delegation for the Sochi Winter Olympics, Carlos Pruneda, demanded an explanation from the eccentric skier concerning the photos of the Lebanese skier Jacki Chaumou. Von Hohenlohe revealed that the photos are acutally from his 2012 calendar and suggested that the scandal was driven to tarnish Chaumou's reputation as a skier.
Hubertus Von Hohenlohe's controversy started on Tuesday when photographs and a video emerged online of the Mexican skier in a photoshoot with the scantily-clad Lebanese skier. However, Von Honhenlohe has explained, in a statement mand through the Mexican Olympic Committee (MOC), that the photographs being circulated were not in fact taken by him but were actually screenshots taken of a video filmed during the shoot while the gilrs were changing.
"I'm a professional photographer," said Von Hohenlohe. "I bring out a claendar every year with famous female skiers, but the models never pose naked and when I photograph them, they never show anything." He insisted that the photographs were for his calendar in 2012 and that "there was a calender made this year with the best photos of the whole series, bu I don't know anything about this and even the skiers have had the photos on their websites since day one and no one said anything."
He emphasized the fact that he was a professional photographer and that he would never take naked photographs but explained that "they were filming this movie and it was just bad luck that they took it when she was changing, for which I'm not responsible because it has nothing to do with me." The skier then reiterated that "there is someone jealous of Jackie Chamou because she made it to the Winter Olympics and they want to have her disqualified from Sochi."
