Meghan Markle’s pregnancy fashion and style differ from that of Kate Middleton. One of the two female royals boasts of understated elegance.
In the documentary “Royal Baby,” the narrator said that Kate was the first royal to marry pregnancy fashion with style. Majority of the pieces that the Duchess of Cambridge wore featured an understated elegance.
Meghan, on the other hand, adds a little Hollywood drama to her condition. A fashion expert singled out one of Meghan’s recent attire that featured a skin-tight clothing and Eiffel Tower high heels. “She looks incredibly elegant, but she probably wants to take off the heels and put on flip flops,” the fashion expert said.
Last year, reports swirled that Prince Harry had to put his foot down with regard to Meghan’s clothing because they were not traditional enough. While they were on tour in Australia, Fiji, the Kingdom of Tonga and New Zealand, Meghan wore clothes that appeared to be too casual and colorful.
At that time, a fashion source told Daily Mail that Meghan even wanted to wear a tuxedo-style suit, but Prince Harry didn’t allow her to do so because it’s non-traditional. The source also said that Meghan has been advised to stop dressing like a Hollywood star and to start dressing like a royal.
Before marrying Prince Harry, Meghan had been in the entertainment industry for 16 years. In fact, the Hollywood actress has been starring in “Suits” for several seasons before she started dating the Duke of Sussex.
Following their engagement, Meghan announced her exit from the USA Network series, and she also said that she has decided to stop acting for good. While speaking with BBC, the Duchess of Sussex defended her decision to stop pursuing her passion by saying that she needs to focus on the next chapter of her life with Prince Harry.
Meghan is currently on maternity leave and is waiting for the arrival of her baby. Rumors are ripe that she could give birth sometime this weekend or before May 5. Following her baby’s birth, Meghan will return to her official royal duties in October.
