Kate Middleton was seen at the “Back To Nature” festival in Woking, Surrey recently. The royal had a pleasant engagement with the people there, and she interacted with everyone with a smile. However, people have noticed that her fashion style that afternoon is something that the Queen would not approve of.

Middleton wore a white floral dress that had pink flowers on it in the recent public outing, Express reported. However, it was her shoes that caught people’s attention.

The Duchess of Cambridge wore a pair of high wedge shoes, which is something that the Queen reportedly hates. Middleton was not accompanied by anyone from the royal family.

The Queen hates wedges so much that a royal insider previously revealed that it was one of two things that Meghan Markle wasn’t allowed to take with her when she and Prince Harry visited the monarch at Balmoral Castle for the summer, Express reported. The other item she wasn’t allowed to carry were jeans.

The insider said that the Queen doesn’t like jeans, and she “hates” wedges with a passion. Markle had to leave these items behind in her home in Frogmore Cottage. She chose a few Scottish designers for her time in Balmoral Castle and for her visits to the church with the monarch.

Meanwhile, the Duchess of Cambridge had fun at the event meeting people and she even posed for pictures. She was also spotted talking to a schoolboy who was playing with sand.

The “Back To Nature” was important for Middleton personally because she believes children should get the opportunity to go out and play. She believes that playing outdoors is beneficial to the physical and mental wellbeing of the younger generation. Going outside also helps families and communities to spend some quality time together, according to the Duchess of Cambridge.
