Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle have been caught up in feud rumors for months now, and the rumors continue on even if the royal family has already denied the alleged rift. It remains unknown if the two duchesses have already patched things up or if they really had a rift to begin with. But according to body language experts, it looks like Kate and Meghan have already settled their differences and are now on friendly terms.
Kate and Meghan appeared in public together last weekend as they watched the Women’s Singles at the Wimbledon Championships with Kate’s sister, Pippa Middleton. The outing was just one of the very few public appearances of the two duchesses together since their rumored rift made headlines months ago.
According to body language expert Judi James, their body languages during the event suggest that the Duke of Sussex and the Duke of Cambridge are already on good terms. “Sitting Meghan in between Kate and Pippa looks like a very active attempt to both host her and include her in a way that hasn’t quite occurred since she married Harry,” James said.
The expert also noted that both duchesses seemed very much at ease sitting beside each other as they watched Romanian Simona Halep defeat Meghan’s friend, Serena Williams. “While Meghan sits with her torso facing front Kate leans in to engage her in conversation, using some illustrative gestures and then even a hand to her hair just behind the ear, which is a partial cut-off ritual that implies confiding during a friendly chat,” James said. She also said their eye contact and their laughter were signs that they wanted the public to see them being friendly with each other.
It can be recalled that Kate and Meghan were first rumored to be having a feud after Meghan allegedly made Kate cry during their gown fitting days before Prince Harry and Meghan’s royal wedding. Since then, reports dragging the two duchesses in an alleged feud have been all over the web. If the feud rumors are true, then Kate and Meghan’s recent outing at Wimbledon could mean that there is no more bad blood between them.now on friendly terms.
