The series finale for "How I Met Your Mother" is approaching faster and faster. With only three new episodes left of "HIMYM" season nine, speculations are flying all over the Internet. And the biggest rumor is that Barney and Robin's marriage is not going to happen and Ted will finally end up with the woman he was always meant to be with, Robin. As for the mother, Cristin Milioti, it is being rumored that she will be killed off allowing Ted and Robin the opportunity to get together.
While the fans are determined to see Ted and Robin together, the producers, cast and crew and keeping quiet and not letting anything slip about the series finale. Recently Milioti addressed the crazy rumor in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter stating, "That's insane!" when prompted about the possible death of the character. Milioti added, "There are some crazy conspiracy theories, which really makes me love the fans more ... That is so crazy." Either she is bluffing and keeping the secret of the big series finale or the theory is actually wrong.
But the cast aren't the only ones being pressured for answers. According to The Hollywood Reporter during the PaleyFest Farewell Wayne Brady probed producers about the highly speculated death but US Weekly reports showrunner Carter Bays was able to avoid the question but did speak about the series finale saying, "We're wildly excited about the finale and obviously we can't say anything... It's beautiful." While the crew and cast are staying tight lipped about any real details regarding the series finale CBS has released a few photos of the one hour event and they are telling in themselves.
Out of the slew of pictures released there are three that stand out above the rest and it could indicate that the Internet theory of the mothers death and Robin and Ted's romantic rekindling holds true. Check out the screenshots below and let us know what you think.
