Michael Jackson has been dead for an entire decade, but the King of Pop’s fans couldn’t help but wonder how his three children are. In a recent update, it has been revealed that Prince, Paris and Bigi are all doing well.
When Jackson passed away in 2009 due to a fatal drug overdose, the singer’s three children were still very young. A source told People that things were very difficult for all three after their dad’s demise. “But it’s amazing to see how far they’ve come,” the source said.
Jackson’s only daughter, Paris, 21, is now working as an actress, model and singer. In 2017, Paris landed a huge modeling contract, but her current focus is on her music. She has been collaborating with her boyfriend and Soundflowers bandmate, Gabriel Glenn.
“She is very excited about creating music,” a family friend said. “This is her passion. She wants to do more gigs with her band,” the source added.
Even though Paris has been doing well in her personal life, the family friend revealed that she was the one among her siblings to be directly affected by the child abuse allegations against their dad. The accusations were detailed in the HBO documentary “Leaving Neverland.”
“Of all the kids, she is the one who really gets worked up and upset about any kind of negativity involving Michael. It’s very difficult for her to deal with. She knows her upbringing with Michael was different, but she thinks he was the best dad. She is very defensive about him,” the source said.
Jackson’s eldest child, Prince, 22, recently graduated from Loyola Marymount University. He and his 17-year-old brother, Bigi, are the best of friends. Bigi is still in high school.
“Prince and Bigi are best friends. They share a lot of interests like science and sci-fi,” the family friend said.
Following Prince’s graduation, he announced that he and his younger brother would be launching their own movie review channel on YouTube. For their first video, the siblings discussed “Avengers: Endgame.” Prince is reportedly eyeing a career as a director or producer.
